The Law Office of David DeStefano, PLLC is a general practice law firm that handles criminal defense and a wide array of civil and business related matters.

The firm defends actions in State and Federal courts, federal investigations and other cases including in part: RICO, Drug Offenses, SEC investigations and cases brought under The Americans with Disabilities Act.

David is adept at formulating offensive and defensive litigation strategies drawing on his experience as an attorney with Meringolo & Associates, P.C., a boutique firm under the famed John Meringolo, Esq., practicing high-profile criminal defense and civil litigation.

David was selected by the former Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division, First Judicial Department to serve on the Mayor's Committee on City Marshals in 2015. He was formally appointed to the Committee under the administrations of both Mayor de Blasio and Mayor Adams, proudly serving for 9 years as a judicially selected member.

In 2023, he was named to the The National Trial Lawyers “Top 100” and “40 Under 40” in New York as well as the Lawyers of Distinction in 2023 and 2024.

David enjoys camping, driving a manual transmission and sitting in the bleachers at Yankee Stadium.
